Markham - 2023

This one is bumpin! We expanded an existing garden bed, adding around 500 native perennials and shrubs across the front of a Main Street business. Photographed at peak bloom, full coverage, full colour.

The real story here is the maple tree. Maples are notoriously difficult to garden under — they drink deeply and cast heavy shade, leaving most plants struggling. With the right native plant selection, we turned that challenge into thriving pollinator habitat. It's one of our favourite problems to solve.
