POLLINATOR GARDENS
OUR GOAL IS TO DESIGN, PLANT AND MAINTAIN POLLINATOR GARDENS THAT ARE LOW MAINTENANCE, BEAUTIFUL, AND ENVIRONMENTALLY BENEFICIAL
Pollinator gardens are designed to attract pollinators - butterflies, humming birds, bees, and other beneficial insects - and lots of them. Native plants are carefully selected to maximize the potential for different pollinators. We select native plants that suit Southern Ontario ecosystems and tailor them to your specific landscape.
Garden Design
We will work with you to select the best native plants to suit your landscape. We specialize in in-ground gardens, raised beds and rain gardens.
Planting
We amend the soil (if needed), plant, and mulch your garden. We offer hourly rate, or flat rate pricing. Contact us for pricing!
Maintenance
We schedule garden maintenance based on your needs. Usually, we recommend a spring clean out, and a summer and fall weeding.
Learning in the Garden
If you've decided to have one of our pollinator gardens installed, AND would like your child[ren] to have a hands-on learning experience working with those plants, we are happy to offer our Learning in the Garden program! We have an experienced Outdoor Educator on staff who will create a custom program based on your child's age/grade. They will learn about your new pollinator garden AND help to install it (giving you a much needed break!) Learn more here & contact us for more info.
