De-Lawn Project

Toronto, ON

We started this garden in June 2020. This client wanted to turn their lawn into pollinator gardens (our favourite type of job!) We removed grass in two areas for the first stage (second stage photos to come), and replaced it with sun-loving native species that would attract a variety of pollinators throughout the growing season. We select for diverse bloom times, colours, and flower shapes in order to appeal to as many different pollinators as possible. More progress photos to come in Spring 2021.
