Pollinator Garden Installation
Scarborough, ON
We started this garden in April 2020. It previously had some non-native species that were not thriving, as well as some invasive goutweed throughout. We removed everything but the small tree, and replaced it with sun-loving native species that would attract a variety of pollinators throughout the growing season. We select for diverse bloom times, colours, and flower shapes in order to appeal to as many different pollinators as possible. More progress photos to come in Spring 2021.
