Pollinator Garden Installation
Peterborough, ON
In early 2021 we were hired to turn this entire backyard into a pollinator paradise. This was a HUGE project that we tag teamed with a local landscape designer. Because we finished the planting before the stone was laid for the paths and patio, we do not have updated pictures of the fully finished product. Hopefully we will get to see the progress this year! In this garden we planted: Black-eyed Susan, Wild Bergamot, Dense Blazing Star, Prairie Smoke, Yarrow, Hairy Beardtongue, Hoary Vervain, Big Bluestem, Side Oats Gamma, Obedient Plant, Wild Columbine, Foamflower, White Snakeroot, White Wood Aster, Blue Wreath Goldenrod, Zig Zag Goldenrod, Virgin's Bower, Groundnut, Bush Honeysuckle, Common Ninebark, Red Osier Dogwood, and Purple Flowering Raspberry. We also planted several Spruce trees along the back edge of the yard, and an Eastern Redbud as a centrepiece for the garden.
