Garden Replacement Project
Mississauga, ON
We started this garden in July 2020. This client wanted to turn their two ornamental gardens (filled with non-native plant species) into a more productive pollinator gardens. We removed most of the non-native species and replanted the ones that we could in the side garden (why waste a perfectly good plant?), and replaced them with native species that will provide productive forage for local pollinators. We always try to be aware of, and mitigate, potential waste so finding a place to replant what we dig up (unless it's invasive!) is important to us. More progress photos to come in Spring 2021.
